Since its establishment in 2013, IdeaPad Research Institute has only done one thing:Solving pain points in daily life through design thinking, functional aesthetics is the core of our brand's development.『Design for Life』 — Every product addresses real-life problems.
When Pang, the brand's founder, was making work aprons, he discovered that the market only had two paths: accepting standard ready-made products or waiting for a lengthy pattern-making process. The instinct of an industrial designer is to redesign the solution to the problem—and so the first product was born: the 'modular work apron'. Like Lego bricks, the apron can be disassembled into independently replaceable parts, allowing for quick assembly of the functions and colors required by the customer. This product obtained an original patent in Taiwan and laid the foundation for the design logic of all subsequent products of the brand.
We hope to revolutionize traditional manufacturing processes through the iclea X bag formula. By integrating rationality and sensibility, we aim to blend design ideas and craftsmanship in every unique handmade product, creating a new style of leather goods. We aspire to produce leather goods that will stir the heart with every use and every touch.

OUR LEATHER
We use the highest grade first layer vegetable tanned cowhide, because the surface is original epidermis and has fine fiber structure, so it has better breathability, wear resistance and tensile strength.
Full Grain Leather comes from the top layer of the hide which has all of the grain. The natural surface of full grain leather burnishes and beautifies with use. It is the only leather good enough for saddleback.
