I have a painting class today!

I came to a low-key studio near Xinzhuang Station with Ge Lunmei

The downstairs looks like an ordinary house.

Open the door and go up to the second floor, there is a different world

The large windows let in sunlight, illuminating the all-white classroom

Wooden furniture, with piles of painting tools, paints, dried flowers and students' works

Like a small art gallery

There are two fairy-like teachers

After putting on aprons together, we started painting.

The first experience course is "# Plant Clay Tablet Painting"

First, look for plants you like in the materials area.

Branches, leaves, dried flowers, grass, fruits, shells, gravel...

We are like treasure hunting, as long as we can find it in the classroom, we can use it.

Then start to mix the cement base, and the teacher will give color matching suggestions

Pour the colored cement into the frame and shake it flat

As the picture shakes, the paint begins to flow naturally.

It looks like a weather cloud map, or an abstract painting.

Mixing cement powder and pouring paint will make your hands dirty in no time.

Cement powder was flying everywhere.

Fortunately, I was wearing a full-body apron.

The powder can be easily removed without worrying about the paint getting on your clothes.

Then place the selected plants on

This is the time for improvisation!

We desperately asked the teacher for help, and we were in a panic.

Finally, lay the work flat to dry in the shade and apply the color of the border.

The editor drew a satellite cloud map that looks very much like the earth.

Add dried plants and shells to represent environmental changes (my own creation)

The contrasting colors of the kelon are full of exotic charm.

With the dark frame, it is very suitable for decorating your home!

Afterwards, I also experienced the "# scraper oil painting class"

It is a painting method that uses only oil paint and scrapers.

I felt like Van Gogh during the process.

The paint is layered on top of each other, getting thicker and thicker.

It's a bit like using paint to make color sculptures.

Scraper oil painting takes a lot of time to paint

I just tried a small piece today.

I really admire the other students in the studio.

The work needs to be left for at least two weeks to dry.
